New Weekly Donation Based Meditation Class @ Hot 8 Yoga in Santa Monica led by Nicole Doherty
Starting Monday, March 31st at 9:30 -10pm. Every week same time and place!
Meditation is a means of transforming the mind through techniques that develop concentration. This mindfulness practice reveals the patterns and habits of the mind which gives insight to more positive ways of being. We will explore different objects of meditation i.e. breath, mantra, physical sensation and sound. This 30 minute practice includes guided meditation and silence in a seated position.
Meditation reduces stress and anxiety, improves memory, focus, creativity, positive emotions and is beneficial with pain management.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a meditation cushion or blanket to sit on. This is a 30 minute non-heated donation class.
